Commemoration of the 43rd Anniversary of the Coup d'Etat in Chile

Conmemoracion del 43 Aniversario del Golpe de Estado de Chile

Join us for an evening of rememberance as artists, musicians and other memebers of the community mark the 43rd anniversary of the Coup d’Etat in Chile of 1973. In this occasion Javier Jara will sing songs of the late Victor Jara, who was a political prisoner under Pinochet’s regime and who was tortured and murdered in the days following the coup.

Les invitamos a una velada junto a artistas, musicos y otros miembros de la communidad, para recordar el aniversario del Golpe de Estado en Chile de 1973. En esta ocasion Javier Jara cantara canciones de Victor Jara, quien fuese un prisionero politico bajo el regimen de Pinochet, siendo torturado y asesinado a los pocos dias de transcurrido del golpe de estado.
