In anticipation of Halloween, Austin Film Society has partnered with Co-Lab Projects’ Hyperreal Film Club to re-score Masaki Kobayashi’s legendary ghost movie KWAIDAN. Each of the anthology’s four chapters will receive an all-new, live score by an artist from Austin’s exciting avant-garde electronic music scene, including artists from Austin’s Holodeck Records, reframing the film’s stunning visual imagery with a new audio environment.
