Indigo Dye Drop-In

This event is open to everyone! Adults and kids aged 8 and up; 8-12-year-olds must be accompanied by an adult in order to participate in this workshop.

For $10/person, you can bring up to 3 items to dye – jeans, T-shirts, tennis shoes, fabric – whatever you want – please note that the vat is a 5-gallon bucket and may not accommodate large items. Natural fibers that work best are cottons and silks. Polyester fibers or blends will not hold dye.

We will have a station set up for you to prep your item(s) and volunteers on hand to coordinate the dyeing and rinsing of your item. Please bring plastic bags to take your items home in, you will be leaving with wet items.

Pre-register online or just stop in the studio between 12:00-3:00 on the day of the event.
