Exhibit at the Bass Concert

Art created by seniors participating in classes provided the Mobile Art Program will be on display May 14 – August 6 at the Univ. of Texas, Bass Concert Hall, ground floor. Since 2007 Mobile Art has been providing opportunities for seniors in the Austin area to create art, expand awareness and build new relationships that enhance their lives. Our art projects explore life experiences, discuss cultural heritage and create group projects so that participants can forge friendships within their surroundings as well as with our staff and volunteers.  We work with seniors who live independently but gather at local community centers, those who live in nursing homes, and seniors living with Alzheimer’s that attend respite programs. All of our programs and materials are FREE.
