US launch of “Los Perros Descalzos”

Come celebrate the official US launch of “Los Perros Descalzos,” the Spanish language version of “Barefoot Dogs”.

Written by Elisabet Ney Museum Writer in Residence Antonio Ruiz-Camacho, “Barefoot Dogs” recently won the Jesse H. Jones Award for Best Work of Fiction from the Texas Institute of Letters, the highest award of its kind!

The event will feature readings from both the Spanish and the English version of the book and will feature a bi-lingual interview of Ruiz-Camacho by rising Austin filmmaker Juan Pablo Gonzalez! Juan Pablo’s latest film was featured at the Cannes Film Festival! This should be a unique and very interesting evening.

Both language versions will be available for purchase and signing.
