Yoga Summit & Kirtan with Jai Uttal

Challenge yourself to explore new techniques and learn philosophies from three different yoga disciplines at this unique event. All levels are welcome to choose two classes out of the six we are offering as well as enjoy a light vegetarian dinner that includes a talk with world class instructors. Afterwards, the evening extends into a kirtan hosted by Jai Uttal.

Jai Uttal is a Grammy nominated pioneer in the world music community. His eclectic east-meets-west sound has put his music at the forefront of the world fusion movement. Jai Uttal’s musical roots embrace a rich variety of cultures and traditions that span the globe and the centuries. From the hillbilly music of the Appalachian Mountains to the passionate strains of Bengali street singers, from the haunting rhythms and melodies of ancient India to contemporary electric rock sounds, Jai’s music distills the essence of diverse musical forms. Jai adds, ‘World music is music from everywhere. Music that creates bridges. Music that unites hearts and cultures. Music that brings peace.’

After you have purchased your tickets, you will want to plan to arrive between noon – 1:30PM to register for your preferred yoga classes. You will select a class from 3 options for both the 1:30PM – 2:30PM session, and the 3:00PM – 4:00PM session. After the classes have ended, dinner will be served at 4:30PM. If you selected the option which includes the 6:00PM kirtan, it will begin shortly after the dinner has ended.

Registration for classes will take place between noon – 1:30PM
1st class session will take place from 1:30PM – 2:30PM
2nd class session will take place from  3:00PM – 4:00PM
Kirtans will take place at 6:00PM and 8:30PM
Dinner service will begin at 4:30PM for the 6:00PM kirtan and at 7:00PM for the 8:30PM kirtan
