"Under the Overpass" at SkyLines

Join us for an evening of dance, live music, and public art beneath an overpass in Boggy Creek Greenbelt Park. “Under the Overpass” at SkyLines, funded in part by the City of Austin Cultural Arts Division’s Community Initiatives Award, is a collaboration between Dance Waterloo and Cindertalk. The performance is set beneath Melissa Borrell & Hanna Lupico’s piece, SkyLines, a sculpture installation commissioned by the City of Austin and Art in Public Places in Austin’s Boggy Creek Greenbelt Park. Cindertalk, a multi-instrumentalist in Portland, Oregon, will compose and perform two original musical selections specifically written for Dance Waterloo. The event will take place November 21 & 22 at 7 & 8 pm as part of EAST Austin Studio Tour. Come early and stay late for artist talks, interaction with SkyLines, and hot cocoa. Art Alliance Austin will be hosting a reception November 21st following the first performance. Performance is donation-based.
