Join Landmarks, the public art program of The University of Texas at Austin, in celebrating artist Michael Ray Charles’ (Forever Free) Ideas, Languages and Conversations on October 15, 2015. Hundreds of wooden crutches come together to form this site-specific sculpture that symbolizes the progress, transition, and transformation of historically marginalized populations. The work is suspended in the atrium of the Gordon-White Building.
