BJ Thomas has one of the most distinctive voices in American music, leading to critical and commercial success including five GRAMMY Awards, Two GMA Dove Awards, 15 platinum and gold records, and more than 25 Top 40 Hits like ‘Hooked on a Feeling‘ and the million- selling ‘(Hey Won’t You Play) Another Somebody Done Somebody Wrong Song‘. He is perhaps most strongly associated with singing the Academy Award-winning movie theme, ‘Raindrops Keep Fallin’ on My Head‘ from Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. The single has been inducted into the 2014 GRAMMY Hall of Fame, and the iconic song still regularly shows up in film and on television.

The native Texan has straddled the line between pop/rock and country, achieving record-breaking success in both genres and steadily building a growing legion of fans in a career that spans more than three decades so far. He continues to do as many as 80 shows annually throughout the U.S. and internationally. BJ has discovered through technology the depth and loyalty of his fans’ commitment; a few years ago after he interviewed with an online deejay, the host put some music together for a one-hour package that could be accessed online. Many of BJ’s signature hits find him seeking some level of positivity to overcome the proverbial universal battle with loneliness. He extended this theme into his successful late 1970s/early 1980s foray into gospel music, which earned him the first four platinum albums in the genre’s history: Home Where I Belong, Happy Man, You Gave Me Love andAmazing Grace.
