Tribute Day

The Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center honors its founder by having free admission Sunday, July 26.  Tribute Day features a portrait of Mrs. Johnson by Normal Rockwell that was the model for her White House portrait, gardening gloves she used in D.C. beautification efforts and her wildflower field guides on display.  Eight books from the Johnson Estate will be sold in the Store as well as books about Mrs. Johnson (many signed by authors). Families can enjoy story time is in the Little House at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. and a paper-making activity all day in the courtyard.  For more information, visit: http://www.wildflower.org/tributeday/
