Great Big Chorus: From Broadway to Beethoven

Conspirare’s season finale, Great Big Choruses, is a collaboration with Conspirare Symphonic Choir and the Victoria Bach Festival Chorus and Orchestra. The program features a glorious repertoire of great choruses from oratorio, opera, and Broadway that includes “Ode to Joy” from Beethoven’s 9th Symphony, music of Brahms, Verdi, and other beloved composers.  Also featured will be the world premiere of So Long as Days Shall Be by Donald Grantham (commissioned by Victoria Bach Festival). 

The performance will feature 170 singers and more than 70 instrumentalists with solos by Mela Dailey, Laura Mercado-Wright, Eric Neuville, and Charles Wesley Evans. Conspirare’s Great Big Choruses is the perfect finale to an amazing year.
