Launching his musical career in 1996, Duncan Sheik quickly shot to stardom with hit song, “Barely Breathing." The Grammy award winner went on to sweep the Tony Awards with his original score for Broadway's Spring Awakening. Sheik is set to release Covers 80s Remixed on November 6, a remixed edition of his 2011 album Covers 80’s in which he reinterpreted the stand-alone pop songs from his teen years along with the synth-pop era’s classic and obscure songs. Sheik brings his hits, unique covers, and brand new songs to the intimate Stateside at the Paramount with Austin indie rock favorites, Alpha Rev, Courrier, and Laura Warshauer.
