Juke Auto shifts focus to Fine Art to benefit Fulmore Singers with help from renown artist Cody Riess
Juke Auto is joining forces with New Orleans artist Cody Riess to support a local middle school choir that has been invited to sing at Carnegie Hall.
Juke Auto recognizes a great cause when he hears one. When Carnegie Hall Maestro Francisco Nunez invited Fulmore Middle Schools Choir, the Fulmore Singers, to be in a show Juke knew the trips $45k price tag could be cost prohibitive when 76% of students come from economically disadvantaged homes. Knowing how important this trip can be, he wants to break that barrier down.
Cody Riess, who has had work featured on MTV Cribs and in magazines like Traditional Homes and Southern Accents, sees the value in getting the group to Carnegie Hall also. After all, her own travels have influenced her so much that even her last collection was titled “Journeys.”
Support a great cause and get some amazing art! 30% of all proceeds will benefit the Fulmore Singers.
Art lovers note: This show will take place right next to Pump Project which is participating in E.A.S.T., the East Austin Studio Tour. You’ll definitely have plenty to see.
