    The Sounding Joy

    Texas Choral Consort’s December concert The Sounding Joy has at its center Navidad Nuestra, by Argentine composer Ariel Ramírez, which tells the story of the Nativity through the music, rhythms and traditions of Hispanic America. Plus seasonal spirituals, traditional and favorite holiday music, singalong carols, and premieres of two new works by Austin composers Russell Reed and Donald Grantham. Guest artists include tenor Soonchan Kwan, Austin Haller on piano and organ, and the transcendent sounds of flute and harp ensemble Chaski. It’s a great way to start your holidays. Come celebrate with us!
