    Chorus Austin’s 32-voice Austin Vocal Arts Ensemble will present “Voices of Light,” a concert of thanksgiving and reflection, at 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church, 8134 Mesa, and at 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18, St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 3501 Red River. Chorus Austin Artistic Director Ryan Heller will lead the ensemble in a program that includes Brahms’ dramatic and moving motet Warum ist das Licht gegeben?, Die Nacht by Herzogenberg, Thomas Tallis’ O Nata Lux, Charles Wood’s Hail, Gladdening Light for double choir and selections from Estonian composer Veljo Tormis’ evocative Autumn Landscapes. Also on the program is the Texas premiere of a new setting by Heller of Sure on This Shining Night. Admission is $20 general and $15 for seniors and students.
