    Joseph Hannig and the German Texans Opening Reception

    FREE and family friendly opening day events include:
    Meet Historian and Curator James L. Haley
     
    There will be a short welcome speech by the exhibit curator and costumed actors playing Susanna Dickinson, survivor of the Alamo, and her husband Joseph Hannig, a prominent German Austin furniture maker!
     
    Following the speeches, there will be two hours of German music and fun in the courtyard. Music will be provided by the Polkadillos. There are lots of kids’ activities too.

    Opening Reception 2-4 pm on Saturday, October 20th and on display until Febuary 23, 2012


    After opening reception opened every Wed-Sun 12-5pm
