Center Space Project presents a night of projections featuring found slides and Super 8 films from the 1950s, 60s, and 70s. Collected from locations around the globe by Sandy Carson, these slides will appear with selections from abandoned home movies reminiscent of the American Dream. The two immigrant artists will contest the ideology of American-ness through their juxtaposed projections, which question and negotiate the idea of home and belonging.

Presented in conjunction with the exhibition "Yet, By No Means" on view at the VAC November 16 – December 8.
