Got a book inside you? There’s no better time to get it out! This workshop will give you the inside scoop on today’s book publishing “pathways” and teach you how to navigate around potential pitfalls.

    This workshop will explain:

The three major book publishing “pathways” —

    • Publishing through a traditional publisher
    • Self-publishing?a printed book through offset printing, digital printing or print on demand (POD)
    • Publishing an ebook

We’ll discuss the “pit stops” a book makes along each pathway as it moves from idea to finished product and a few ways to promote it. Come prepared to get some feedback on a brief description of your book concept. This workshop will help you identify the best pathway or pathways for your timeline, budget, business experience, quality expectations and needs for prestige and creative control.
