We are excited to tell you about Way Off Broadway Community Player’s 11th Annual Fundraiser and Mellerdrama, Pure as the Driven Snow. Not only is this show packed with Rip Roaring Humor, but there is also a Silent Auction, Door Prizes, Raffles and their 50/50 Drawing. Which is always thrilling. You’ll have to come to the show to find out for yourself just how thrilling this is! Oh, and did I mention the popcorn? You have some to eat, and some to throw. What better venue for you and your kids to boo loudly at the bad guy, clap and holler for the good guy, swoon over the heroine along with a host of other Colorful Characters. There will also be Surprise Appearances by several of our Local Celebrities as they partake in the fun as the Special Guest Stars.

The story begins in the Beautiful Texas Hill Country at the U. Land Inn during the mid 1800’s as our poor heroine, Purity Dean (AHHHHHHH), who is as Pure as the Driven Snow, has a secret she must keep close to her heart. The Vituperative Villain, Mortimer Frothingham (BOOOOOO), follows Purity and tries to purloin her love by using his despicably wicked ways. Meanwhile, Love Blossoms betwixt Our Noble Hero, Leander Longfellow (YAAAAAY) who is as Manly as any Hero should be, and Purity. But, alas and forsooth, this happiness is short lived as Morty tries by the evilest designs possible to fouly foil the plausible plans of Leander and Purity, sending Leander to his impending doom. Follow these and a Dizzying Array of Stellar Stars as the Melodramatically Fun Unfolds, embracing Love, Laughter and Dastardly Deeds!
