So you think you can dance? Prove it. Every Thursday, swing and Lindy Hop enthusiasts who are part of the nonprofit Austin Swing Syndicate get down at the Texas Federation of Women's Clubs. Beginners can take a lesson at 8:15 p.m. Theres no need to bring a partner, and once you learn the steps, you can head over to the main ballroom to cut a rug until midnight. $6 for non-members and $3 for members. 2312 San Gabriel St., austinswingsyndicate.com
