    Salvage Vanguard Theater presents SVT Kids!, an educational program that nurtures the student’s creative voice while building teamwork, confidence, and communication skills.
    Summer camps are offered half day,1:00 pm -5:00 pm/ ages 5-14.
    Each week culminates with a sharing of performance for family & friends.

    About SVT Kids:
    All programs are taught by Adriene Mishler. She is an actor and producer of site-specific work who loves to blend local theatre, film, music and dance. She is a company member of Ariel Dance Theatre and SVT, serving as the Education Coordinator. Adriene delights in the joy of arts education and is dedicated to using theatre and movement as a way to help young people discover creative self-expression and learn collaboration. By day Adriene is a certified Yoga instructor and teaches Theatre Arts, Musical Performance and Choreography at public & private schools in Austin.

    Aug 6-10 HIP HOP
    1:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. / ages 5-14. CAMP FEE: $150
    Hip hop onto the stage as we get into our bodies and dance to the beat. Explore creative self-expression; learn hip-hop, jazz and modern dance as well movement and improvisation.

    Aug 13-17 MUSICAL THEATRE
    1:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. / ages 5-14. CAMP FEE: $175
    Act! Sing! Dance! Perform! Bring on the old razzle dazzle and explore your creative side as we blend music, dance, and theatre. All levels welcome...5, 6, 7, 8!

    Aug 20-24 CLASSIC COMEDY
    1:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. / ages 5-14. CAMP FEE: $150
    Reach back to the days of silent movies & classic comedians! Back to the birth of cartoons! Create a character or steal from your favorite Saturday morning buddy and learn how to tell a story with only the use facial expression and your body. (And fun props and too!) Physical comedy and pantomime! We will write act and perform our very own live action cartoon that is sure to have the stage in stitches!
