Free, Eclectic, Live Music The next Music in the Parks concert will feature Aftermath with Edison Chair & Hannah Hagar from 1-5 pm on Friday, Feb 25 at the Northwest Recreation Center, 32913 Northland Drive. Aftermath is a teen (under 21 band) band from Austin who recently won NAMM’s SchoolJamUSA National Teen Battle of the Bands. Joining Aftermath, will be Edison Chair, a young rock trio inspired by the The Who and the Beatles. Also performing will be Hannah Hagar, an Austin folk singer-songwriter who composed the majority of her first CD before she turned 18. The Music in the Parks series is a year-long concert series that provides free, live and diverse concerts to Austin’s music-loving community in parks citywide. Coordinated by the City's Music Division and Parks Department, the Music in the Parks series presents an eclectic range of genres, including conjunto, folk, soul, rock and country performances in park settings within Austin neighborhoods. Performances are free and appropriate for the whole family. All are welcome and invited to attend.
