AMODA's next event will feature music for percussion and electronics performed by Line Upon Line percussion (Austin) and composer Sam Pluta (NYC). They will play a selection of pieces by John Cage, Sam Pluta, and Anders Vinjar, some of which warp percussion music almost beyond recognition.

AMODA's next event will feature music for percussion and electronics performed by Line Upon Line percussion (Austin) and composer Sam Pluta (NYC). They will play a selection of pieces by John Cage, Sam Pluta, and Anders Vinjar. Among them, Pluta's static-infected piece Matrices warps percussion music almost beyond recognition. Join us for an exciting program including finely honed performances on metal, wood, skin, and re-purposed consumer electronics, along with live video and state-of-the-art signal processing. The Austin Museum of Digital Art is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to engage the public and artists in the creation, understanding, and appreciation of digital art. The Performance Series is focused on presenting experimental music and digital performance art in a contemplative setting.
