The Harry Ransom Center kicks off the spring season with the Poetry on the Plaza event Love on Wednesday, February 1, at noon.
Just in time for Valentine's Day, come hear poems celebrating the joys and lamenting the pain of love. Readers include Larry Carver, director of the Liberal Arts Honors Program at The University of Texas at Austin; H. W. Brands, history professor at the University; and Shamala Gallagher, a poet from the Michener Center for Writers.
Refreshments will be served at this free event.
