COMEDY & IMPROV

Thursday Night Social Club
January 5-January 26, 2012

To celebrate being named ColdTowne Theater's "Outstanding New Troupes", Scout and The Team have decided to throw a party. Every Thursday in January, the theater will open a full 30 minutes before showtime where you can enjoy free beer, snacks, and an atmosphere fit for a swinging soiree in the deep, dark 1970s. Dress up or dress down. There will be holiday lights and rhythm & blues until the Social Club’s amiable host -- the undeniably hilarious Mac Blake -- sets the evening’s tone with a short set of stand-up comedy and introductions of the host-troupes. Then the “outstanding” begins: two deep-dish sets of conceptually-hearty and physically-demanding improvised long-form comedy from Scout and the Team –with a brief intermission of surprise proportions.
