Add Review/Comment
"Chanteuse", a musical about friendship, fame and folk music is the story of Johanna Clarke and Darcy Bailey, two friends from college in Texas, who are hired as folk singers in New York's Greenwich Village in the 1950s, 60s and 70s by former blacklisted comic Sid Feldman. In more than 20 lively songs "Chanteuse" follows the relationships and careers of these three and touches on the issues of the day. This production expands the staging to include dancers and supporting players.
