Bad Things Happen When The Stripper Comes Home…
Homer Garcon is an unpublished and frustrated science fiction writer living off the success of his wife, Trude Garcon-Moore, a busy Hollywood producer. As a result, he finds himself “trapped” in lavish surroundings – his luxury jail – and with publisher rejection letters piling high, Homer has convinced himself of his wife's infidelity. “A Swingin’ Trio” follows Homer as he dives into the prickly territories of self-awareness and self-pity, in his quest to find the truth about his possibly cheating wife--and himself--all at a Valentine's Day dinner decidedly set for three.

The world premiere of “A Swingin’ Trio,” produced by the intrepid African American husband/wife team of FilmKZP Productions, has been announced for Friday, October 21, at 7:00 p.m. at the internationally renowned Austin Film Festival, in the Rollins Theatre at the Long Center for the Performing Arts. The second screening occurs Wednesday, October 26 at 6:00 p.m., in the Texas Spirit Theater at the Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum. This satisfying dark narrative, which until recently was only an intense character-driven screenplay in the mind of the writer, was filmed in Austin last year using an almost all-Austin cast and crew.
