The Hideout Theatre, Austin's downtown improvised comedy venue and champion of innovative theater, presents its next main stage production Spirited. Saturday nights in September and October one young girl will journey into an abstract world of delight and terror, an improvised dreamscape of strange creatures and surreal adventures. The production is inspired by the works of Hayao Miyazaki (Princess Mononoke, Howl's Moving Castle, Spirited Away) Lewis Carroll (Alice in Wonderland) L. Frank Baum (The Wizard of Oz) and other auteurs and authors of fantastic realms.
