International tap master Acia Gray and Tapestry Dance Company brings back America’s national tap dance tour "The Souls of Our Feet" - the award winning National Endowment for the Arts Masterpiece production for a People’s Republic of China Tour kickoff – ONE SHOW ONLY!

Conceived and directed by Tapestry Artistic Director Acia Gray, recently awarded the Hoofer Award by the American Tap Dance Foundation / NYC, this fast paced collection of footwork restages and pays tribute to the best of rhythm tap masterpieces from Fred Astaire & Eleanor Powell to The Nicholas Brothers as well as contemporary works of living masters. Led by the live jazz music of the Souls of Our Feet Trio (featuring Austin Kimble, Gerald Massoud & Masumi Jones) and vocalist Datri Bean international solo artist Acia Gray brings this one-of-a-kind concert with swingin’ jazz and 20 flying feet keeping time to the pulse of this wonderful and indigenous American artform; a celebration of rhythm at its best!

From New York’s Symphony Space to Dance Encore Canada, Tapestry Dance Company has made a tremendous mark internationally bringing American tap dance to life! To standing ovations, The Souls of Our Feet has delivered flying feet from the past to the present and will soon be hitting Shanghai and points beyond for a five-week tour of China starting October 1st!
