Heralded as “a guitarist of unparalleled chops and a vocalist with great emotional range and sophistication”, George Benson entertains in just about any style -- from swing to bop to R&B to pop. With his warm tone and silky vocals Benson is a singer of songs and a spinner of tales. His 1976 triple-platinum album, Breezin’ soared to #1 and became the first jazz album to achieve platinum status – fueled by the success of hits “This Masquerade” and “Give Me The Night”. Benson went on to enjoy one major R&B/pop smash after another, including, ‘The Greatest Love of All’, ‘On Broadway’ and “Turn Your Love Around’. The National Endowment of the Arts Jazz Master and 10-time Grammy-winner will release his latest – The Guitar Man – in September 2011.
