Acclaimed and world-renowned guitar masters Eric Johnson and Sonny Landreth will join forces for a rare tour together this fall that will play select dates in Texas and Louisiana. The shows will be more than a double-bill with both artists’ bands setting up onstage together for individual sets capped by a collaborative final segment that will include special surprises and songs in which the two celebrate their heritages and accomplishments as players and artists.
The tour expands on a friendship and mutual admiration that recently found both making special guest appearances on each other’s latest albums. Landreth plays on the track “Your Room” on Johnson’s Up Close and Johnson appears on “The Milky Way Home” on Landreth’s From the Reach. Their tour will treat fans to some of the best of their individual work and offer once in a lifetime musical moments as they play together.
