Pecan Street Festival celebrates 34 years this May 5th and 6th! It’s Cinco de Mayo and Kentucky Derby weekend so bring the kids for crafts with Michael’s, your pets for activities with Austin Pets Alive!, and your dancing shoes for live music on three stages.

Enjoy unique vendors like leighelena and Shawn Corder. Visit The WAHL Tour if your beard needs a trim, wash your hands at Mrs. Meyers booth, and bring your old cell phones to Yippity – they’ll tell you how much it’s worth.

VERTS is returning with their Berlin-inspired kebap. You’ll also find organic black bean chips at Beanitos, edible mushroom growing kits at Back to the Roots, and Ziegenbock to wet your whistle.

Festival proceeds benefit local non-profit organizations such as Knights of Columbus and Austin Boxer Rescue. This year, the festival has also partnered with Make a Wish Foundation and Crowd Together to send two lucky Pecan Street Festival goers Over the Edge!

Capital Metro buses and Metro Rail (Saturday only) will be running to downtown, and the festival is FREE! We hope to see you there! Visit www.oldpecanstreetfestival.com to learn more.
