     Watch Austin Shakespeare's FREE Stage Combat Showcase on Monday, Aug 29th at 8:45pm. The performance will be held at the beautiful CLEAR SPRING STUDIO just off South First St. (605-A Copeland) with monthly long class participants : Dakota Willingham, Emily Withers, Andrew Matthews, Ben Wolfe, Andrea Smith, Kathy Rodgers and Daniel Cline, and was taught by Toby Minor.
    In this workshop you will see all Dakota, Emily, Andrew, Ben, Andrea, Kathy and Daniel utilize all the hand-to-hand stage combat skills they have been learning over the last four weeks to execute safe, inspired, passionate VIOLENCE on each other. Come watch them punch, kick, slap, and throw each other around.

    Join us Afterwards: Drinks and socializing at the Upper Decks (corner of Barton Springs and Riverside. Across from Threadgills)

    Toby Minor is an actor combatant, certified with the SAFD (Society of American Fight Directors) and received his B.A. training from NMSU. He also holds black belt level in BudoTaijutsu (Ninjitsu). Toby has choreographed fights for various shows around town, including Hamlet with Austin Shakespeare and Black Swan Productions, True West with DYS theatre and Lear at the Vortex. Film Choreography credits include, among others, Haze, and Omniscience with Stage left in Chicago.
