6PM Screening: Searching for the Impossible:
    The Flying Project

Beginning with Eilmer, an eleventh-century monk who attempted to fly with wings, this film traces the exploits of artist Joel Tauber and “other fools who tried to fly.” Tauber’s works document his quixotic quests exploring human relationships with nature and the divine.  Christopher Knight, art critic for the Los Angeles Times, called the work, “extraordinary…a touching spiritual journey…unforgettable.”
