Austin's own John F. Carroll and Russell Minton present the premiere of Masters of the Universe: The Wizard of Stone Mountain-- an independent, live-action fan film based upon the popular Masters of the Universe franchise.
"Determined to win the respect of his people and the love of his life, Teela; Malik, The Wizard of Stone Mountain, makes a bargain with a demon to wield great power. It is up to the heroic warriors to save Malik from himself when the demon takes control and claims Malik’s soul!"
The Wizard of Stone Mountain is the first live-action Masters of the Universe fan film to be produced for the public. Based upon Johann Wolfgang von Goethe’s Faust, the Wizard of Stone Mountain is a fully realized, character-driven story. Written and directed by John F. Carroll, the film was shot on HD Digital video in studio and on location in Austin, New Braunfels, and Leander Texas.
This premiere is one night only and seating is limited.
