July 27, 2011
Add Review/Comment
The Austin Public Library and the Austin Film Society present KING KONG (NR, 1933) as part of Head Start Cinema. Head Start Cinema is a weekly cinema series screening selections from the British Film Institute's list of the 50 films you should see by the age of 14. Of course, these films are meant for people of all ages to watch, enjoy, discuss and debate.
Films will be screened at both the Windsor Park and University Hills Branches, but the discussions will only be held at the Windsor Park Branch after the film screening. A member of the local film community will explore aspects of each work, from special effects to social impact. Prepare for a fun journey through great films from around the globe and close to home to inspire community dialogue.
