Paula Poundstone continues to be one of the foremost comics working today. Her ability to create humor on the spot is legendary; she is masterful at improvising with the crowd through her casual air, impeccable timing and razor-sharp wit. She is a popular panelist on NPR’s Wait Wait…Don’t Tell Me, has published her first book There’s Nothing In This Book That I Meant To Say and released her first comedy CD: I HEART JOKES: Paula Tells Them In Maine in 2009. An Emmy Award winner, she is also the first woman to receive the Cable ACE for Best Standup Comedy Special. As one critic stated: “Poundstone has a rare talent.
