The Grammy nominated world vocalist has been enchanting audiences throughout the world in venues like UCLA's Royce Hall, Kennedy Center and The Sydney Opera House. Batalla first gained attention as a backup singer for Leonard Cohen and K.D. Lang. Her transcendent, gemlike voice and unique, worldly-flavored soulful style possess a striking balance between folk-pop and the rhythmic textures of Latin and indigenous American music.
