THIRST, NOW!
June 4-June 5, 2011
Add Review/Comment
A choreographic and video collaboration, THIRST is an exploration of the significance of water as sustenance and as an agent of growth and inspiration. It examines the possible consequences of neglecting this vital resource. THIRST brings together artistic expression and environmental activism in order to raise awareness about water conservation and access. Originally conceived in October 2009, this is the final chapter of our project in memory of Lucia Rodriguez. This thought-provoking, poetic eulogy employs aquatic imagery and beautiful movement to relate a story of loss that inspired a newfound sense of purpose.
