    Nominated for and Winner of 9 Academy Awards including Best Picture, Dest Director Vincente Minelli, Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Art Direction, Best Cinematography, Best Costume Design, Best Film Editing, Best Original Score, Best Original Song, and and Honorary Award for Maurice Chevalier.

     

    Monday 20 A Midsummer Night’s Dream (1935)

    Celebrate the summer solstice with a classic!  Featuring Micky Rooney as Puck, James Cagney as Bottom, and introducing Olivia de Haviland as Hermia.

     

    Monday 27Mary Poppins (1964)

    13 Academy Award Nominations and Winner of Academy Awards for Julie Andrews as Best Actress, Best Substantially Original Music Score, Best Song, Best Visual Effects, and Best Film Editing.

     

    Some seating provided.  Lawn chairs and blankets optional.  Please no outside food or drink.

    Sing-a-long if you like.  Theme dressing for each movie encouraged.
