The second annual Austin Sketch Comedy Festival is happening May 27th - 29th over Memorial Day weekend and will showcase Austin's exploding sketch comedy scene and the very best scripted comedy America has to offer.
Featured local acts include 24-hour sketch challenge champs Your Terrific Neighbors, Stag Comedy (featuring members of Master Pancake Theater), Turn of the Century Paris ("Highly recommended!" -- Austin Chronicle), ColdTowne Theater's runaway hit talk show The Night Show with Josh Krilov the ColdTowne Theater Mainstage Revue Cereal For Adults ("I laughed so hard I cried tears of laughter!" -- Austin Chronicle).
National Acts include L.A.'s Delicious Moments (The Tonight Show), Chicago's Saddle Dads (Second City), New York City's Audience of Two (People's Improv Theater), and Brooklyn's Bleak! Comedy (Upright Citizen's Brigade Theater). The festival will also include comedy writing workshops from Mary Jo Pehl (MST3K).
The festival will take place at ColdTowne Theater (4803-B Airport Blvd) and at the Spider House Ballroom (2908 Fruth St.).
