he Merlin Works Institute for Improvisation is excited to announce that we are now offering classes in sketch comedy. Sketch Comedy 101, a six-week workshop for anyone interested in sketch comedy, starts June 4. This class is aimed at those already involved in theater, improv, stand-up and those with no previous performance experience. We will study the beats of a sketch and types of sketches as well as how to get motivated and trouble shoot your sketch. This class will culminate in a sketch comedy performance for a live audience!
