Writer/performer Charles Ross spent too much of his childhood in a galaxy far, far away - and adulthood has been no different. In this high energy 75-minute solo piece, Ross plays all the characters, recreates the effects, sings the music, flies the ships and fights both sides of the battles from the original Star Wars trilogy.

      Like most of my generation, I saw the Trilogy courtesy of film. I enjoyed them but am not a Star Wars fan per se' by any stretch of the imagination. However, I have just become a huge Charles Ross... Expand

      Like most of my generation, I saw the Trilogy courtesy of film. I enjoyed them but am not a Star Wars fan per se' by any stretch of the imagination. However, I have just become a huge Charles Ross fan. His performance was fabuloso and then some! Incredible animation, great sound effects, just the right amount of audience interaction, and marvelous humor. The amazing thing is it kind of makes me want to see the movies again. You could definitely follow the story in a most enjoyable manner! I would strongly recommend this to anyone. Quality entertainment!!! Collapse

      Star Wars is one of the most enduring movie sagas of my lifetime, yet I am not overly-committed to it. With that said, I could not have enjoyed Charles Ross' performance more. He is very gifted at... Expand

      Star Wars is one of the most enduring movie sagas of my lifetime, yet I am not overly-committed to it. With that said, I could not have enjoyed Charles Ross' performance more. He is very gifted at gesture, voice and wisecrack, especially good impersonating an Imperial Walker collapsing, and makes "blowing-up" noises with the satisfaction and gusto of a 4-year-old. Apparently, Star Wars has left an indelible imprint on my psyche behind my back, as it were, for who knew I would be able to so expertly judge the quality of his ability to mimic Jabba the Hut's death-throes tail wiggle. This guy nails it, he's funny. and the Long Center Rollins Theater is deeply air conditioned. Collapse
