Beethoven's Mass in C Major

The Austin Civic Chorus will present an all-Beethoven program at 8 p.m. Saturday, April 30, Northwest Hills United Methodist Church, 7050 Village Center Dr., and 2 p.m. Sunday, May 1, at St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church, 8134 Mesa Dr. Chorus Austin’s 120-voice choir, under the direction of Ryan Heller, will present Beethoven’s Mass in C, Op. 86, with orchestra and soloists, and Elegischer Gesang, Op. 118, edited for the chorus by Heller. The symphonic Coriolan Overture, Op. 62, opens the concert. Tickets, at $20 general admission and $15 for seniors and students, may be purchased online at www.chorusaustin.org, at the door or by contacting the Chorus Austin business office at (512) 719-3300.
