Juan P. Flores danced with Ballet East for four years before following his star to New York City and studies on full scholarship at the famous Ailey School of Alvin Ailey Dance Theater.
Voices will premiere “Giving Up the Ghost” by Ananda Moss, a piece that explores the loss of hopes and dreams when a person dies young and unfulfilled, and a station of the full length work in progress by award-winning choreographer Sharon Marroquin, “The Materiality of Impermanence.”
The program will also feature original choreography by Sheila Cruz and Melissa Villarreal.
