    We’d love to have you child return for our one-day AISD school holiday activity on Friday, February 18th, from 9AM – 5 PM. Young people, ages 5 – 14, will “Discover Black History with Sojourner Truth” that includes First Aid for Kids with Austin Police Academy staff, dance with “Sister Moses” (Renee Davis) – based on the life of Harriet Tubman, collage making led by fiber artist April Garcia based on the Underground Railroad Quilt Code, and a hands-on history experience with the Buffalo Soldiers. All this for only $30. Early drop off arrivals (7:30 – 8:30 AM) will receive breakfast, but participants will need to bring food for two snacks and lunch.
