The Blue StarLite’s retro-tastic and indie-centric programming brings the intimate Boutique drive-in experience closer to the heart of the city with ammenites including over 10 food trailers, walking distance to and from some of the best bars in Austin, new tasty treat concession packages to delight and, of course, as usual, our one-of-a- kind experience of modern urbanism meets vintage retro chic. THE urban drive- in movie theater for the modern age.

Purchase either FM or Vintage Window Car slots -- PER CAR, NOT PER PERSON -- The window Speaker slot means you get an actual old time Drive in speaker on your window. The fm slot means you tune in with your radio and don't get an actual physical speaker for your window.

Food packages purchased under the desired car slot (pricing includes car slot -- or pedestrian walk in price)

$35-$45 - Tasty Treat for either FM or Vintage Window includes popcorn, and Vintage candy
$45-$55 - Get smores for your money for either FM or Vintage Window car slots include Popcorn and smores kit for 2 included.
$60 - The Family Plan: FM car slot only includes popcorn, Candy/Smores for 4!

      Classic movies with the backdrop of the Austin skyline instead of some musty old wall -- that's what the Blue Starlite Drive-In offers. While they've been around for a little while, the East-Side has been graced with another location for under-the-stars movie viewing. Opening night of the Blue Starlite's 2nd location showcased Back to the Future, the perfect kind of classic to saddle up with a few friends and drive down and watch. There's a special kind of feeling sitting with a bunch of friends in your truck's bed, or your car's open trunk--passes are for a carload, not individuals, so split up the cost and the more the merrier I say--along with plenty of others doing the same, especially in the comforts of the near-East side, it feels like a real sort of community. Great atmosphere, good, clear screen, food trailers to be had behind, and it's no more expensive than a regular movie, less with lots of friends, with great movie choices. No excuse for not already having a ticket. Collapse

      The drive-in experience was great! Staff was very friendly and available. The atmosphere was great! We really enjoyed the experience and the set up. You can take your lawn chairs and sit in-front of your vehicle - big plus. The only thing we found misleading is the website says the entrance fee is $25 per car load, and does not mention that an additional $5 per person in the vehicle. However, other than that, this place rocks!! Will definitely return and bring all our friends. Collapse
