    Join us to celebrate the new winter issue of Borderlands: Texas Poetry Review. Hosted by editor Deborah A. Akers, the literary reading is Friday, January 28, at 7 p.m. at BookWoman, 5501 N. Lamar A-105.

    Poets scheduled to read include Joe Blanda, Dale Cottingham, Diane D. McGurran, Donna Marie Miller, Shubh Bala Schiesser, Kelsey Erin Shipman and Chuck Taylor.

    The new issue showcases a photographic series of New Mexico landscapes by Austin photographer Jim Nix.

    Borderlands is funded in part by the City of Austin Cultural Arts Division.
