Add Review/Comment
Described by The New York Times as a “towering figure in the world of experimental theater,” Robert Wilson is an internationally acclaimed artist whose works integrate a wide variety of media including set design, choreography, sculpture, lighting design, music and, more. Wilson is the 2011 Blanton Gala honoree, and this exhibition presents work he created while visiting The University of Texas in 1986. Robert Wilson in Four Acts presents a single idea translated into multiple mediums -- from drawing and lithography to theatrical production -- inspired by the Greek tragedy Alcestis by Euripides from 438 B.C.
