Stage and screen legend Liza Minnelli and her sextet perform in a one-night-only concert event. Minnelli will be singing favorite American standards including "New York, New York" and "Cabaret." Winner of four Tony Awards, an Oscar, a Grammy, two Golden Globe Awards and an Emmy, Minnelli is one of the entertainment world's consummate performers. She will also be featuring material from her new CD, "Confessions".

      Seeing Liza Minnelli live is like no other experience. She truly is the embodiment of what New York represents-pizzazz, grit, and talent. Not only does Liza still have all her original chutzpah, she can still throw some dancing, humor, and ultra-high energy into her performances. As the show went on, Liza's performances only got better as she warmed to the crowd and seemed to be enjoying herself to the fullest. Her band was exquisite - sensing her every move and responding in kind. There wer no glitzy sets, no fancy light shows - just Liza and her band doing what they do best. And in the process, leaving the Austin crowd shouting for more. A truly astounding performance by one of the all-time greats. Collapse

      Seeing the legend that is Liza Minnelli is a truly unforgettable experience. Even after all these years, this woman still gives 110% to her performances. Displaying all her original verve, humor, and wit, Liza had the crowd in the cup of her hands within the first few minutes. Singing classics such as New, New York and Cabaret, she left the crowd yelling "I love you!" and wanting more. Her quintet was comprised of some of the finest musicians I've heard and complemented her style to the tee. Truly an amazing performance by an amazing performer! Collapse

      Lithesome in her black pants and sequined black top with pale pink scarf wafting behind her, Liza Minelli entered with nonstop, electrical energy, and a living larger than life voice to capture the audience with her humor, anecdotes, side remarks, whimsical songs, soaring vocal, sometimes with a little breathing in between, as she says I will be 65 in twenty minutes. Hitting all the favorites with true Star gusto and never letting go of her audience, crooning smooth and silky slow nostalgic songs from her highback chair. Amazing, a lifetime treat, for those who missed it, her strength and breath of her legend is still powerful, remarkable and still Liza with a "Z". Collapse

      Seeing Liza Minnelli live is like no other experience. She truly is the embodiment of what New York represents-pizzazz, grit, and talent.
